Poreč is swimming, running and cycling
Poreč is rightly called the capital of sports and tourism. This popular tourist destination on the Adriatic Coast offers the perfect conditions for sports activities or holding sporting competitions, with its pleasant Mediterranean climate and superb service in excellent accommodation facilities of Plava Laguna.
All this awaits numerous triathletes who will compete in swimming, running and cycling at the Triathlon Championship.
This interesting race starts in Zelena Laguna, more precisely, by jumping in the warm Adriatic Sea near the Laguna Parentium Hotel. After a two-kilometre swim, the competitors are in for a bicycle ride that will take them through vineyards, olive groves, woods and the villages of Sveti Lovreč, Vižinada and Ponte Porton back to Zelena laguna, in order to take part in the last discipline - running to Plava Laguna – that will decide the winners.
