In 2023, the Istria Gran Fondo became an officially recognized event under the leadership of the UCI-World Cycling Organization. The series of races will take place all over the world, on five continents, culminating in the UCI Gran Fondo World Championships held from 29 August to 1 September 2024 in Aalborg. 

In addition to the main race split in two categories (Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo), participants will have the opportunity to try their hand at Time Trial. The individual Time Trial will take place on Friday, 12 April.

If you are up for a real challenge, choose between the two routes for the bold and physically fit riders – 94 km long route of Istria Medio Fondo and 119 km long route of Istria Gran Fondo. Both will take place on Saturday, 13 April 2024, in Umag.
