Terms and Conditions of the Plava Laguna Club Loyalty Program

1. GENERAL INFORMATION

The goal of Plava Laguna Club Loyalty Program is to enable the clients of Plava Laguna d.d. who are participating in the program, using the benefits described below.

2. DEFINITIONS

Plava Laguna Club: a brand (verbal and figurative trademark) owned by the company Plava Laguna d.d. who is the organizer of the Loyalty Program and the owner of the accommodation facilities participating in the program. Plava Laguna d.d. is a company that in the implementation of the program, as the main body guaranteeing the rights prescribed by this program, requires responsibility of the members and (or) provides the members other warranties.
Program: a loyalty program that Plava Laguna organizes under the name Plava Laguna Club. All copyrights on this program belong exclusively to the company Plava Laguna d.d.
Client: a client who has not yet accessed the program and has accepted the General Terms and Conditions of the Program.
Member: a client who has joined the program and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of the Program.
Point: unit value expressed in points. Points can be substituted for discounts or other services within the hotels, apartments and villas managed by the company Plava Laguna d.d. Ten (10) points are worth 1.00 EUR / 7.53 HRK.
Card: The Plava Laguna Club card has a digital form, delivered to the member in the welcome e-mail upon online registration, and a physical form, issued in the application form upon in-person registration at the Plava Laguna d.d. facilities. The Plava Laguna Club card is not transferable to other persons. Physical cards issued up to 31 December 2022 are still valid.
Program Partner: a business entity outside the company Plava Laguna d.d. that provides benefits to members of the program.

3. MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS

Any adult physical person can join the program by filling in the required information in the application form at the reception of the facility, or through an online application form. To become a member, the client must provide the necessary information and fill out the application form. Membership in the program is free. A member may at any time terminate his membership in the program with a written notice. This implies a withdrawal from the program, which permanently stops the existing relationship between the member and the Plava Laguna Club program and terminates all the benefits associated with membership in the program.

4. PLAVA LAGUNA CLUB CARD

Upon registration, the client will receive his or her membership number, which may be used to collect points and gain access to various benefits and discounts. To collect points, the member must indicate his or her membership number when booking accommodation, checking in at the accommodation facility and making payments. The member should not lend, transfer or sell the card; otherwise he will lose all rights from this program. The member is responsible for all activities related to his card account. Each member must notify Plava Laguna d.d. in case of change of personal data (name, surname, address, e-mail address). Plava Laguna Club Card is owned by Plava Laguna d.d. and Plava Laguna d.d. reserves the right to withdraw or disapprove the card if the member does not use the card under the terms and conditions of membership.
*A permanent loyalty card may be issued at the request of the member.

5. BENEFITS PROVIDED BY THE PROGRAM

Members of the Loyalty Program are eligible for discounts and benefits. Members are entitled to discounts when booking online on plavalaguna.com in the amount up to 10% reduction (depending on availability) at the lowest possible accommodation price. Members also have the right to special offers that are periodically published on their online profile at plavalaguna.com.
In general, members collect the points for each stay (only for the accommodation unit where they are staying), which can be used the next time they stay in the accommodation facilities participating in the program.
Club members will receive information about current offers and deals, appropriate promotional materials, satisfaction/quality surveys, and other surveys related to user experiences at Plava laguna d.d. facilities to the e-mail address indicated in their registration.
Club members have the right to unsubscribe from these notifications at any time.

6. DISCOUNTS AND OFFERS FOR MEMBERS ON INTERNET PAGES

Members of the Loyalty Program are eligible for discounts and benefits. Members are entitled to discounts when booking online on plavalaguna.com in the amount of up to 10% reduction at the lowest possible accommodation price. Members also have the right to special offers that are periodically published on their online profile at plavalaguna.com. These discounts and benefits apply only to members who indicate their card number at the time of booking. Plava Laguna d.d. reserves the right to modify or terminate discounts and favourable tariffs in the offers without prior notice, depending on availability. One member can get a discount for maximum five accommodation units.

7. COLLECTION OF POINTS

Members collect for each stay the points they can make use of during the next stay in the accommodation facilities participating in the program. Points can be collected for the accommodation unit where the member is staying, based on the bill paid for that accommodation unit. If the member wants to collect points for other accommodation units, then they must be listed as both the payer and the holder of the bill that relates to several accommodation units. This is possible only for the accommodation units located in the same hotel/apartment complex, and it is mandatory to communicate this to the personnel at the reception of the facility where you are staying before paying the bill. Collecting points is valid for stays that occur after the client has joined the loyalty program. Between the transaction at which the member collects the points and the transaction at which he is planning to use the points has to pass for at least 7 days. When using the benefits, 10 points are worth 1.00 EUR / 7.53 HRK (e.g. a member who has collected 100 prize points at the next stay is entitled to use 10.00 EUR / 75.35 HRK). The member shall have to indicate the membership card number when booking the accommodation, and present his card during the check-in to the facility and when paying the bill in order to request the collection of points or the use of points. Points can be spent only to pay for the cost of accommodation at the reception desk of the accommodation facility. The maximum amount of discount that a member can get using the points cannot be more than 90% of the total invoice amount that a member has to pay for his stay in the accommodation unit. Each time a member makes use of the points for payment of accommodation, they are deleted from his account.

The Plava Laguna Club card may not be used retroactively and points are not awarded for stays prior to the implementation of the Plava Laguna Club Loyalty Program.

There are four ways of collecting points:

a) Stay - A member of the loyalty program for every euro spent to pay accommodation gets 1 point added to his card account. Valid costs of stay are defined in Article 7.1. When paying a bill at the reception desk or points of sale, a member is required to show his membership card;
b) Consuming in the catering facilities of Plava Laguna - A loyalty program member for each spent euro on food or drinks at the Plava Laguna catering facilities gets 1 point added to his card account. When making a payment, a member is required to show his membership card. Points cannot be used to pay for consumption in the Plava Laguna catering facilities;
c) Ambassador Club – Valid only for reservations made through the Contact Centre. A member of the loyalty program who brings a new guest to hotels, apartments and villas of Plava Laguna d.d. (a guest who has never stayed in the accommodation facilities of Plava Laguna d.d.) gets the number of points in the value of the new guest's stay (and accompanying persons placed in the same unit). For example, if a new guest makes a stay in the value of 500.00 EUR / 3,767.25 HRK, a 500-point value will be added to the account of the Plava Laguna Ambassador Club member. When booking the accommodation, the new guest must be sure to note the name and surname of the Ambassador Club member and specify the number of his card. The Ambassador's points will be calculated only after his friend pays the bill for his stay at the reception desk of the accommodation facility. All enquiries related to achieving the Club Ambassador status that we receive after the stay of new guests will not be taken into account.
d) Promotional activities – Plava Laguna d.d. may award points for promotional purposes.
To gain access to the benefits of this programme, the member must indicate his or her membership number when booking accommodation, as well as later on, when checking in at the accommodation facility, and when making payments. These conditions must be respected.

7.1. Valid costs of stay

Valid costs of stay include the costs incurred during the stay of a member and his accompaniment in the accommodation facility. This includes all costs in the accommodation unit (price of accommodation, price per person, various supplements, various fees), services that occur on the spot at the points of sale within the hotels, apartments or villas that are managed by Plava Laguna (food and beverages) and VAT. Calculation of points is based on the total amount of paid valid expenses. The bill must be addressed to a member of the program. Points are added to the card account within 7 days of the transaction.
Collecting points cannot be combined with other membership cards.

Exceptions:
Non-eligible expenses are non-board services such as: mini-bar, room service, internet fee, cleaning, telephone, parking fee, residence tax, tips, fees for services and other applicable fees, in-store purchases, spa, products and services, hair dresser or barber, beauty parlor, sports and golf green fees.
Points are only earned by eligible expenses that are effectively paid, after the Member redeem the points gained in his or her previous stays. Points for the current stay are starting to collect after the guest becomes a Member of the program.

7.2. Who can collect points and use discounts

The guests that are using Plava Laguna services through agencies or booking accommodation through portals of online travel agencies are not entitled to discounts or collection of points by staying in accommodation facilities; neither can they use points to pay for their stay. Only members who have come to the accommodation facilities via Plava Laguna channels (plavalaguna.com, Contact Centre, Reception) can get discounts and collect points. Online discount for members is valid only for reservations made at plavalaguna.com, and do not apply for reservations through the Contact Centre or Reception. Points can be collected for all expenses that happen on the spot (food and beverage consumption and the like) at points of sale within the accommodation facility run by Plava Laguna. All points of sale where points can be collected are appropriately marked. The card can only be used by the member on whose name it is addressed. If a member fails to stay in the facility, the use of discounts and collection of points is not possible. Points can be transferred to other members. For this purpose, it is necessary to complete the request for transfer of points (online at plavalaguna.com or via Contact Centre).

7.3. The validity of prize points

Points are valid for three years (36 months) from the time of collection at the reception desk. The validity of the points is not extended, but all points collected are valid for three years from the date of the collection. When spending not all but only part of collected points first will be spent those points that have been collected first. If points are not spent after three years from the time of collection, these points will be deleted from the member's account without notice and without the possibility of their return or replacement.
Membership in the program remains valid. The points do not have a cash value. Points are awarded only for effectively paid eligible costs after a member replaces already earned points.

Accommodation facilities belonging to Plava Laguna and participating in the program are as follows:
Hotels: Hotel Albatros Plava Laguna, Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna, Hotel Zorna Plava Laguna, Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna, Hotel Mediteran Plava Laguna, Hotel Plavi Plava Laguna, Hotel Istra Plava Laguna, Hotel Gran Vista Plava Laguna, Hotel Materada Plava Laguna, Hotel Delfin Plava Laguna, Vila and Village Galijot Plava Laguna, Hotel and Garden Suites Park Plava Laguna, Hotel Bonavia Plava Laguna, Hotel Coral Plava Laguna, Hotel Aurora Plava Laguna, Hotel and Residence Garden Istra Plava Laguna, Hotel Residence and Garden Suites Umag Plava Laguna, Hotel Sipar Plava Laguna, Guest house Adriatic.

Plava Laguna d.d. from time to time can expand or modify the list.

9. DATA PRIVACY

The processing and protection of personal data Plava laguna d.d. collects from its members (as data subjects) is subject to the Privacy Policy published at plavalaguna.com. For any questions relating to personal data, members may contact us via e-mail at dpo@plavalaguna.com.

10. AMENDMENTS TO THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE PROGRAM

Plava Laguna d.d. reserves the right to complete or partial suspension or modification of the terms of Plava Laguna Club program. Plava Laguna d.d. will take all necessary steps to promptly inform members about possible modifications or discontinuation of the program and will therefore not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by members when the said changes are effective. The current general terms and conditions of the program are available at the web address plavalaguna.com.

11. NOTES ABOUT THE PROGRAM

A member can view all the information related to the program on the website plavalaguna.com. For any questions about membership, as well as notification of change of personal data or any other information relevant for the membership, a member can contact the following email address: loyalty@plavalaguna.com or contact us via the online form. If a member notices that the points have not been properly assigned to his account, he may send an email to the following address: loyalty@plavalaguna.com with a copy of the invoice of the accommodation facility in which he stayed.
