Over 100 exhibitors will participate in the fair and among those, more than 70 % will be winemakers. Visitors will be able to taste wines and learn new facts about winemaking as part of the Istrian tradition and regional identity.
The fair, which is by far the most popular oenological event in the region, will be preceded by the International Evaluation of Wines and Spirits and the 14th World of Malvazija, organised by the Association of Winegrowers and Winemakers of Istria and held from 4 to 7 April inHotel Parentium Plava Laguna.
The biggest news accompanying the 29th edition of Vinistra is that the prestigious Concours Mondial de Bruxelles will be hosted from 11 to 15 May in Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna, to the delight of Istrian winemakers. Considered one of the world’s largest wine evaluations, Concours Mondial de Bruxelles was founded in 1994 and since 2006, it has been held in a different country every year. So far, the event has traversed fifteen of the most famous wine countries and thanks to Istria, Croatia also found itself on that list.
Plava Laguna has supported Vinistra since its beginnings and it has been a partner of the event for many years. If you plan to attend Vinistra and visit Poreč, the Plava Laguna hotels and apartments are the perfect choice for a seaside stay near the event.
