Plava Laguna Half Marathon 2025

The traditional Plava Laguna Half Marathon event will take place on 22nd and 23rd of March 2025 in the Poreč Zelena Resort. Apart from the main half marathon race, the weekend will be complete with a 10K race, Family race and the kids favourite Pepi Kids Run.

The Plava Laguna Half Marathon is not just a race, but a whole event filled with excellent atmosphere and many additional offers and activities, guaranteeing experiences that keep visitors coming back to this ever growing and ever improving adventure year after year.

Our aim is for Poreč as the destination and Plava Laguna as the host to provide our guests with everything they could wish for! This includes a beautiful location by the sea, cosy hotels near the event and excellent organisation with many fun programmes: pasta parties, live music, and animation programmes for children with mascots Pepi and Lino bringing sweet prizes for all participants, to name just a few.

Half Marathon - 21 km

The Half Marathon is the most challenging of the races, and it takes place on a beautiful course by the sea connecting the Zelena Resort, Plava Resort, the city of Poreč and the cove Sv. Martin. Anyone at least 18 years old can register.

Race start: Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 at 10:00 a.m in front of the Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna, Zelena Resort

Course: 21 km

Official awards ceremony: in front of the Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna at 1 p.m.

Pasta party: Hotel Molindrio Plava Laguna 12:00 - 3:00 p.m

Time limit: 3 h (10 a.m to 1 p.m)

10K Race - 10 km

This course has amazing views of the sea, the green landscape and the city of Poreč sights, all sure to motivate the runners during the race even more. Anyone at least 16 years old can register

Race start: Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 at 10:00 a.m in front of the Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna, Zelena Resort

Course: 10 km

Official awards ceremony: in front of the Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna – from 11:30 p.m

Pasta party: Hotel Plavi 11:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m

Time limit: 1h30min (10:00 a.m to 11:30 p.m)

Family Run - 4 km

Fun for the whole family! The Family Run is a perfect opportunity to spend some quality family time together, connecting with other families who share the same passion for running and outdoor activities.

Race start: Saturday, March 22nd, 2025 at 3:00 p.m in front of the Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna

Course: 4 km

Time limit: 1 h ( 3:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m )

Pepi Kids Run

Our youngest runners will love these specially prepared races designed to give them a fun start in the world of running. Four races of various length are available at one of the most beautiful locations on Istria’s western coast – Zelena Resort. All races are scheduled to start in front of the Hotel Parentium Plava Laguna. Children younger than 8 must run with their parents.

Race date: Saturday, March 22nd, 2025

Course and schedule:

1.200 m – for kids aged 13-16; start at 1:30 p.m.

800 m – for kids aged 10-12; start at 1:45 p.m

400m – for kids aged 7-9; start at 2:00 p.m

200m – for kids aged 4-6; start at 2:15 p.m
