The most attended Plava Laguna Halfmarathon to date once again confirmed that Zelena Resort and Poreč are perfect destinations for sports activities. The combination of beautiful coastline, welcoming hosts, and positive sports energy created an atmosphere that was the perfect introduction to spring. The weekend was filled with motivation, excitement, and unity, making it an unforgettable experience for all participants and visitors.
The winners of the main 21-kilometer race were Alessio Milani from Italy, who crossed the finish line in 1 hour and 12 minutes, and Olga Andrejeva from Estonia, who claimed first place among women with a time of 1 hour and 27 minutes. Alessio Milani is already a familiar name to Plava Laguna Halfmarathon runners, as he won the title in both 2022 and 2023.
In addition to the half marathon, the 10K race was held, and the winner was Estonian Taavi Tambur, who set an outstanding time, completing the race in just over 35 minutes.
A Family Run fun race was organized for families and recreational runners, with the proceeds from the entry fees being donated to the Centre for Inclusion and Community Support in Poreč.
