Perfect for families, ideal for cycle enthusiasts - so if your family likes to cycle you get to have twice the fun and joy out your holiday at Hotel Garden Istra Plava Laguna. The interior is decorated in a rustic Istrian village style, with a lot of lavender and olive trees planted everywhere. The lobby looks exactly like a tiny village square, with reception on one end and a bar on the other - but the rooms are urban and comfortable. When not cycling through the Istrian countryside looking for a perfect tavern for lunch, you'll enjoy a spacious outdoor pool with a red brick sundeck around it (there is a smaller indoor pool so that you can keep up your training regime even during the colder months). The beach is some 100 meters away, through a nice pine tree alley. There are tennis courts nearby (Umag being the tennis center of this part of the world, ATP tennis tour and all) and you are welcome to use the gym and the fitness center. There are sports programs almost every day, so even with temperatures below 18°C, you'll get professional coaches that will make you sweat - if only so you'd have a reason to soak in a jacuzzi or sauna right after. Kids will love it, as Hotel Garden Istra Plava Laguna has a vibrant kids' program with a clubhouse near the pool complex and nightly entertainment on the terrace.

Dry in the sun, repeat. You'll sleep like a log. Next day, walk to the beach. Listen to the sea. Smell the salt in the air. Get on a bike and go exploring the countryside - or just nip into town. Follow our Animation team for games, sports, workshops and shows. All right in front of your cozy, bright and comfortable room or family apartment. Umag is an evening stroll away. If you feel like it, play some tennis. We recommend the early morning or late evening, as the summer days are too hot and ideal for sun and the sea - or the pool.
